The B&B Il Ciottolo is a typical Genoese house with all its characteristic details: the terrazzo floors, the stuccoed ceilings and the antique furnishings, equipped with every comfort for a weekend or a long stay. Guests can enjoy a small dining room with a lounge and a work area with Wi-Fi. Inside you will find many materials to learn about the history of the city and organize your visit. I am happy to welcome my guests and chat with them, hoping they feel at home in this familiar environment. The B&B has three rooms, two doubles and one single. The very spacious and bright bathroom is shared among the guests. The double rooms overlook a beautiful garden and on the horizon you can see the sea with a sky of a thousand colors. The name of the B&B was inspired by the sea pebbles and the alleys, creuze, where the palace is located. Passo dell'Acquedotto is a delightful pedestrian street that looks like an ancient magical village suspended in time. There are artisan shops, cafes, bakeries, bars and inns where you can spend your evenings.

Let me introduce myself: my name is Manuela! I am forty and I opened the B&B twelve years ago. I have always been fascinated by other cultures, in fact, as a young man, as soon as I could with a guide in hand and backpack on my shoulder I was ready to go! I studied International Sciences and stayed both in England and in France for study. Now "I travel from home"; -) I like to open the doors of my house to make known my beautiful city: Genoa.
The B&B is located in a creuza -small pedestrian street-, but reachable by car through Largo Riccardo Pacifici. Castelletto is an elegant and residential area, adjacent to the centre, in ten minutes you can reach piazza De Ferrari.
It is advisable to walk around the courses and to use the Sant'Anna funicular or the Spianata Castelletto lift. The area is full of culinary shops, small bars and museums, such as the museum of Oriental art, the Albertis Castle and the kiosk of the Sant'Anna pharmacy. We recommend a sweet break from the Magenta pastry shop, an evening at the Tre Merli or Maninvino, or a nice walk to the Righi from via delle baracche. The little train of Casella is also suggestive.
